Rovinj, Croatia

Croatia has some of the most beautiful coastline in Europe where green, forested hills dip into turquoise waters and picturesque harbours are lined by pavement cafes, surrounded by narrow, cobbled streets. The fascinating culture and history of this region - together with the warm welcome of its people - make it a perfect holiday destination. Rovinj is one of the most picturesque medieval towns along the coastline, and a great base from which to explore the Istrian Peninsula. Topped by the beautiful Cathedral of St Catherine, its busy harbour is surrounded by cafes in which to sip a cappuccino and watch the world go by. It's narrow, cobbled streets and tiny houses are now home to many galleries and shops as well as trendy bars and restaurants. Our optional excursion programme offers plenty of opportunities to experience the gorgeous scenery, history and culture of this beautiful region of Croatia.
