Lake Garda - Desenzano

Lake Garda has always been a source of inspiration for the famous travellers and writers that have stayed there - from Goethe to Byron, Foscolo to Lawrence and many more besides. Located at the South West end of the lake, Desenzano is very chic. It has a very typically mediterranean feel with its winding streets between the town's hillside castle and the lakeshore below. Why not sit and watch the world go by from one of the many bars around the pretty harbour, where small boats are moored and swans glide effortlessly along the calm lake shore. Desenzano is a trendy spot for partying and locals flock here in their glitzy clothes to parade the streets in an evening passeggiata, eating, drinking and socialising as they soak up the atmosphere of this wonderful town.
