the Italian lakes. Bellagio has been called the most beautiful town
in Italy and is set on a small peninsula in the middle of Lake
Como, giving it the character of an island. The public gardens of
Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni are spectacular and well worth a
visit, but the resort of Tremezzo, a short walk from your hotel, is
home to one of the most extravagant, the splendid Villa Carlota
with its botanical gardens and museum.

The Hotel Brittania Excelsior is situated with a prime location on
the shores of Lake Como with amazing views of beautiful Bellagio,
known as 'the most romantic town in Italy'. The hotel facilities
include; a wonderful Terrace and outdoor swimming pool with views
over the Lake, spacious lounge areas to relax, a bar serving hot
and cold drinks throughout the day and a restaurant offering buffet
style service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the hotels

guest-rooms feature en-suite bathroom and wc, colour tv, direct
dial telephone and many have a balcony or views of the lake and
these can be prebooked for a supplementary charge. Directly
opposite the hotel you can take a ferry to Bellagio, the lakeside
capital Como or a miltitude of other towns on the Lake and there is
also regular bus service from outside the hotel.
