Slovenia is the only country in Europe that combines the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian Plain and the Karst. The landscape is constantly changing, with the sea in one direction and high mountains in the other. In the midst of the Alps lies the stunning Lake Bled, with its own tiny island, home to the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Maria. The town of Bled is amongst the most beautiful alpine resorts, renowned for its mild, healing climate and thermal lake water. Relax and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the mountains reflected on the lake.
