Essaouira
Travel along Morocco’s Atlantic Coast and arriving in Essaouira, known for its gleaming white buildings and refreshing sea breezes. Part laid-back beach resort, part traditional old town, Essaouira or ‘Old Mogador’ was once a favoured haunt of Jimi Hendrix, but also has a compact and fortified old town with traditional Moroccan crafts for sale along its charming, narrow streets. Taroudant
This friendly Berber city has an intriguing history, and was the capital of the Saadian Empire in the 16th century. A fortified town with dramatic ramparts, it sits amongst a fertile valley and is known for its traditional souks bursting with Moroccan handicrafts.
Paradise Valley
Discover the best of the Moroccan countryside in Paradise Valley. The route here is formed of winding roads and colourful landscapes. The verdant gorge itself is lined with palm trees, plantations and streams, and dotted with tiny villages.
