Annecy & the French Alps

France

Fall in love with the ‘Venice of the Alps’

Stunningly picturesque, the Alpine town of Annecy sparkles at the tip of the glassy waters of Lac d’Annecy. With its pastel-hued buildings, trickling canals, winding cobbled streets and bright floral displays, it’s easy to see why Annecy is known as the ‘Venice of Alps’. Charming architecture hints at the town’s medieval past, and wandering amongst its enchanting boutiques in the crystal-clear mountain air is sure to work up an appetite for Annecy’s many mouth-watering bakeries and tempting restaurants. Further afield, the beautiful mountain scenery can be enjoyed from chic Chamonix, glorious Geneva and majestic Mont Blanc – the pinnacle of the Alps.
