This historic shipbuilding village is situated in the heart of the New Forest on the banks of the pretty River Beaulieu. The reconstructed village dates back to the 18th century, and you can discover more about its maritime heritage in the museum.

Renowned as one of the most significant literary sites in the world, this Grade I-listed cottage in Chawton attracts hordes of visitors annually.
