Manchester's Christmas markets provide a great variety, with over 300 festively festooned chalets across the city centre. The market centres around Albert Square, Manchester's Gothic heart, backed by the iconic Town Hall.

The Lowry Centre

This bold building, located on the waterfront of Manchester’s Salford Quays, is home to theatres, galleries and places to eat. It hosts an extensive curated collection of works by LS Lowry, as well as changing exhibitions by artists of international renown.

Tatton Park (NT)

Tatton Park is a wonderful historic estate, at the centre of which is an opulent neo-Classical mansion packed with extensive and diverse collections. The collections reflect the changing tastes of generations of the Egerton family, with ceramics, paintings, books and an unrivalled display of Gillows furniture. The library is considered one of the finest in the National Trust.
