Lake Geneva & the Swiss Alps

Switzerland

Spectacular lakeside scenery

Lake Geneva, or Lac Léman as it’s known in French, sits across the border of France and Switzerland, seemingly tethered by the city of Geneva. Encompassed on the Swiss side by the region of Vaud and the majestic Vaudoise Alps, Lake Geneva sparkles with crystal-clear waters and its shore is strung with vibrantly charming towns. Terraced vineyards line the banks of the lake with verdant stripes of green in summer, yet the snow-capped peaks and glaciers of Vaud are never far away. With medieval castles, spellbinding vistas, luxurious lakeside architecture, and the delicious tastes of Switzerland’s chocolates and cheeses, this is the perfect destination to get away from it all and enjoy the crisp air.
