The imposing Norman castle at Carrickfergus is one of Northern Ireland’s best-preserved medieval fortresses. Having witnessed sieges from several corners of Europe, the castle today is home to fascinating historic displays and has cannons dating back to the 17th century.
This stunning neo-classical house, dating back to the 19th century, is surrounded by incredible and unusual gardens, evocative of the Mediterranean.
